Drummond Commission reports back Government reaching out to Ontarians for best advice on 2012 budget

This week, the Drummond Commission on the Reform of Public Services released its report including its 362 recommendations.

Our government has been clear, that Ontario needs a serious plan for serious times and that's what this report begins to deliver.

This is a serious report and it shows the magnitude of the challenge facing Ontario. But it doesn't have all the answers.

Our government’s plan will need to more specifically identify how we will reduce the deficit at the same time that we position our economy to grow even stronger.

The Drummond Commission is just one of the ways our government is reaching out to Ontarians to get their best advice on how we work together. We will also be hearing from MPPs of all political stripe, stakeholders, and Ontario families as we develop a 2012 budget that eliminates the deficit, grows the economy and creates jobs.

See the Commission’s full report.
